According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, there are 35 players with a five-star rating in the 2022 cycle. The group of five-stars includes 31 players that have already signed with their program of choice, while the remaining four are still undecided on where they will play in college.

Seventeen college football programs have signed at least one five-star prospect in the 2022 class. Georgia and Texas A&M each have five signees among that group, followed by Alabama with three, then LSU, North Carolina, Ohio State and USC with two each, while Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Jackson State, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas each have one.

The group of five-stars features five quarterbacks, two running backs, two wide receivers and six offensive linemen on the offensive side of the ball. The defensive five-stars include five defensive linemen, two edge defenders, three linebackers, six cornerbacks and three safeties, while one five-star prospect is designated as an athlete.

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9999 | No. 1 Overall | No. 1 CB Recruitment status: Signed with Jackson State Measurables: 6-1 | 165 Player evaluation: Slender frame with the desired length. Should be able to fill out once lifting in a college strength program. A twitchy, bouncy athlete with elite ball skills that makes plays on both offense and defense. Has exceptional foot quickness and agility. Smooth in the backpedal. Able to flip his hips and mirror wide receivers of all different sizes. No verified speed times, but looks to have a turbo under the hood. Instinctive football player. Has a high success rate in coverage and creates takeaways on a consistent basis. Comfortable lining up on the boundary in man coverage. Not the strongest individual, but will fight with his hands and try to redirect wideouts at the line of scrimmage. Willing tackler that can help out in run support. Totaled over 1,500 receiving yards and eight interceptions as a junior playing in one of the Peach State’s highest classifications. Could be an offensive weapon at the next level, but ceiling is highest on the other side of the ball as he’s a natural ballhawk that has the skillset to be a shutdown corner. All signs point to him being a multi-year starter in college and eventually developing into an early round NFL Draft pick. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Xavier Rhodes | CB | Indianapolis Colts

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9998 | No. 2 Overall | No. 1 DL Recruitment status: Signed with Texas A&M Measurables: 6-4 | 325 Player evaluation: Good height and barrel-chested build with massive overall size. Wears significant weight quite well and arrives on campus immediately capable of competing at the high-major level from a physical standpoint. Not only broad and filled out, but owns good length as well. Powerful build manifests in point-of-attack disruption. Flashes consistent suddenness at the snap with playmaking speed-to-power athleticism. Punchy and violent with his hands. Closes fast in pursuit. Shows outstanding lateral range relative to size. Motor runs hot. Strong enough to make plays through blocks. Can also run plays down from back side. Has posted outstanding verified testing numbers for a player of his size. Heavy-handedness and activity with his big paws will become even more dangerous as pass-rush move set expands. Given his size will need to monitor conditioning and maintain athleticism, which has not been an issue to date. Deep tool set should provide for varied role and scheme versatility. One of the top overall prospects in the 2022 class. Should become impact high-major defensive lineman with NFL Draft first-round potential. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Dexter Lawrence | DL | New York Giants

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9966 | No. 3 Overall | No. 1 WR Recruitment status: Signed with Missouri Measurables: 6-0 | 200 Player evaluation: Above-average size and build. Very good athlete who is also a standout basketball player. Has been productive in two varsity seasons. Shows the ability to make plays from all over the field. Can take screens and break long gains and can be a downfield receiver who wins contested passes. Long strider, very smooth and has excellent body control. Has not been verified as far as speed. Can still get more explosive in and out of his breaks. Still on the raw side as far as craft, but has great upside with his natural athleticism and competitiveness. Should be an early impact college player and have a chance to be an early NFL pick. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Chris Godwin | WR | Tampa Bay Buccaneers

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9964 | No. 4 Overall | No. 2 DL Recruitment status: Signed with North Carolina Measurables: 6-5 | 310 Player evaluation: Shaw is a thick built player with a powerful lower half. Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 330 pounds he is still athletic enough to play all over the defensive line with great production. He is light on his feet and makes plays off the edge and the interior. With his power and bull rush he does an excellent job pushing the pocket and causing disruption. Shaw is has excellent awareness and is able to read and react on plays that are away from him, chasing them down from the backside. He has good flexibility in his hips and he can drop his weight and turn the corner when rushing the passer. He has to continue to work on playing with a low pad level and utilizing his hands when he gets off blocks, along with adding pass rusher moves to his game. Shaw brings athleticism not normally seen in a player his size, that makes for his upside to being off the charts and him projecting to being a Power Five starter for multiple years. I think that he projects as an All Conference player with the chance of being a 1st round pick in the NFL Draft. – 247Sports National Recruiting Expert Chris Singletary NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Akiem Hicks | DL | Chicago Bears

247Sports Composite: 4-star | 0.9961 | No. 5 Overall | No. 1 LB Recruitment status: Undecided 247Sports Crystal Ball: Texas A&M 100% Commitment date: Sun., Jan. 2 Finalists: LSU | Texas | Texas A&M Measurables: 6-2.5 | 210 Player evaluation: Put together well with a lean, athletic build. Not overly long but good height and has some space to add mass in college. Dynamic two-way player with big-play ability with the ball in his hands and as an attacking defender. Legitimately could be a high-major running back prospect in addition to elite linebacker recruit. Outstanding tester in a combine setting (4.49 40 prior to junior season). Athleticism jumps off the screen. Flashes home run-hitting speed as a ball carrier that translates to broad pursuit range on defense. Displays consistent back-side chase-down athleticism. Fluidity shows in running back touches and in redirecting ability on defense. Often plays from the edge but also plays off the ball. Lines up at receiver, running back, and wingback for a wing-T offense. Easy athleticism that makes tough plays look less challenging than they really are. Size will dictate an off-ball role in college, but flashes impressive dip and pass-rush feel off the edge. Generally a sure tackler who can provide the big hit. Honing coverage technique will enhance positional and situational flexibility as a defender. Gets over-aggressive at times and can run himself out of position. Good play strength relative to size but will still need added mass and strength as he progresses to the next level. Size and average length could become an issue against big, athletic tight ends at the next level. Nevertheless, among the top prospects in Texas for his class and one of the top linebackers nationally. Possesses the potential to become a multi-year impact starter at the high-major level with long-term early-round NFL Draft upside. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: Second Round Player comparison: Myles Jack | LB | Jacksonville Jaguars

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9960 | No. 6 Overall | No. 2 WR Recruitment status: Signed with Texas A&M Measurables: 6-0 | 175 Player evaluation: Adequate-sized receiver with lean, hyper-athletic build. One of the most dynamic athletes in his cycle with layered athletic context thanks to one of the 2022 class' best track and field profiles. Pairs those qualities with elite natural receiver skills. Tracks well downfield and displays terrific adjustment abilities and body control when required. Field speed reflects track speed (10.58 100) and yields dangerous vertical field-stretching threat. Equally dangerous in run-after-catch situations thanks to explosive athleticism. Combines great 100-meter speed with a sizzling 21.08 200. Texas 5A state medalist in four different events as a junior (long jump, triple jump, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay). Capable of lining up outside or in the slot. Also a possible return game option. Twitchy off the line and gets on top of corners quickly. Not only a linear burner, but flashes impressive lateral suddenness with make-you-miss open-field athleticism. Because of that, should own a high ceiling as a route runner, especially since leveraging DBs into breaks is not an issue. Willing to go get it in traffic with springy elevating burst. Will need to continue working on his frame to add strength. Production was good throughout high school career, but senior year reps were limited by decision to opt out after playing three games. One of the nation's top wideout prospects in the 2022 class. Projects as a difference-making high-major receiver with an early-round NFL Draft ceiling. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: First Round

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9959 | No. 7 Overall | No. 2 CB Recruitment status: Signed with USC Measurables: 6-1 | 185 Player evaluation: Long well built corner with an NFL body right now. Is all of 6-1, 190 pounds with long arms and plays a physical game. Has tremendous straight line speed and has run in the low 10.5-100m range. Excels in press coverage and can bully opposing receivers at the line of scrimmage. Has the speed to turn and run with any receiver but needs to continue to improve his ball awareness and tracking the football. is very good in run support and will come up and unload on a running back or receiver. Can be a bit grabby at times and needs to improve on not trying to be overly physical in coverage down the field. Has improved his ball skills and could be a factor as a kick or punt returner in college. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Xavier Rhodes | CB | Indianapolis Colts

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9942 | No. 8 Overall | No. 1 EDGE Recruitment status: Signed with Alabama Measurables: 6-2 | 235 Player evaluation: Alexander is a very talented and well put together player, that has a good well proportioned build and frame. He has long arms with a muscular body that at 235 pounds is college ready. You see a physical, aggressive and powerful player when you watch him play. He brings burst, speed and power off the edge when rushing the passer along with the ability to use his arm over move or speed rush to the QB. He plays with very good pad level and punch, where he is able to get off blocks using his heavy hands to make plays. You see that he is able to key and diagnose well whether the play is a run, pass or a blitz. During these plays you that he runs well and is a factor all over the field. He has natural snap on contact that is on display with him either knocking the blocker back or tackling the ball carrier. Alexander is a difference maker that is an ideal edge rusher that opponents have to always know where he is. He is a game changer with his play making ability and he should to be a multi-year starter at the Power Five level and ultimately become and early round selection in the NFL Draft. – 247Sports National Recruiting Expert Chris Singletary NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Shaquil Barrett | EDGE | Tampa Bay Buccaneers

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9942 | No. 9 Overall | No. 3 DL Recruitment status: Undecided 247Sports Crystal Ball: Texas A&M 100% Commitment date: Wed., Feb. 2 Finalists: Georgia | Miami | Texas A&M Measurables: 6-6 | 272 Player evaluation: Looks like a grown man out on the edge. Was mistaken by one recruiter for a college senior when he was a high school freshman because of his size. A legit 6-foot-4, pushing 6-foot-5. Added over 20 pounds of mass to his frame between junior and senior seasons. Still room, however, to get bigger as he’s a tad on the leaner side. Owns one of the longest reaches out of any pass rusher in the entire 2022 cycle with a wingspan that stretches well over 80 inches. Uses that length to his advantage. Has shown on tape that he’s capable of wining both inside and outside. Initial burst allows him to quickly work his way into the backfield. Does a nice job of keeping his feet moving while feeling out a situation. Powerful enough at the point of contact to walk back an offensive tackle and flush out a pocket. Not much of a finesse player at this stage in the development, but can execute a dip or rip to get around different obstacles. Tends to play with a high pad level, which can result in missed tackles. Has the foot speed to hawk down ball carriers, but needs to play through the whistle on a more consistent basis and be a difference-maker outside the hashes if he’s going to reach his full potential. Must also get more flexible. Burst onto the scene as a sophomore when he totaled 15 sacks facing stiff competition week in and week out down in South Florida. Nagging shoulder and knee injuries, however, derailed a majority of his junior season. Rare physical traits and elite testing numbers suggest that he could blossom into an all-conference type of player at a Power 5 program and eventually an early pick in the NFL Draft if everything comes together. Has a chance to remain out edge, but future might be as an interior pass rusher as his body is starting to trend that way. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Chris Jones | DL | Kansas City Chiefs

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9940 | No. 10 Overall | No. 1 IOL Recruitment status: Undecided 247Sports Crystal Ball: Texas 100% Commitment date: Wed., Feb. 2 Finalists: Oklahoma | Texas Measurables: 6-3 | 310 Player evaluation: Average height with good length and a stout build that is virtually college-ready. Good athlete on the field relative to size; shows in pulling ability and second-level blocking. Heavy-handed and flashes devastating punch power at times in those second-level opportunities. Impressive open-field athleticism when lead-blocking beyond the line of scrimmage. Terrorizes second-level defenders and looks for extra work. Block-finisher by nature. Played both ways at RT and DT as a junior and would be a P5-caliber recruit either way, given physical specs. Two-sport participation in football and basketball (can dunk). Also a very good lifter in the weight room. Can improve hand placement consistency. Good athlete but can improve fluidity and body control in some situations. Big wingspan but is long-term upside limited by average height? Could potentially play multiple offensive line spots, but projects best to guard. Should become an impact high-major starter with the ceiling to reach the NFL Draft's early rounds. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: First Round

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9937 | No. 11 Overall | No. 1 OT Recruitment status: Signed with North Carolina Measurables: 6-6 | 282 Player evaluation: Big frame with shoulder width. Ideal left tackle size with strength. Multi-sport athlete played on state class 3A semifinal team as junior. Agile and high-level athlete. Moves well in space. Plays with attitude and nastiness. Strong at point of attack and uses his lower body strength well. Initial punch is forceful and plays with heavy hands. Once engaged remains locked on and drives legs. Finishes blocks well. Effective down blocker from right tackle position. Shows ability to pull and move well in space. Can scrape and get to second level. Has body control to pinpoint second-level defenders. Has agility to cover the edge against speed rusher. Is patient in pass pro and does not lung often. Consistency with hand placement needed. Has to continue to work on bend to be more consistent with sinking hips and winning leverage battle. Has to refine kick step. Multi-year starter at top 10 program. NFL first round potential. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Jedrick Wills Jr. | OT | Cleveland Browns

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9935 | No. 12 Overall | No. 2 LB Recruitment status: Signed with Ohio State Measurables: 6-3 | 215 Player evaluation: Long defender who added good weight between his sophomore and junior seasons. Is growing more towards a true linebacker, but still shows the athleticism to play all over the field including out in space and even returned punts and played running back still at his size. Excellent blitzer who has explosive ability to shoot gaps or come off the edge. Additional strength was noticeable on his senior film. Ball skills are good, which he shows on offense and he should be a great coverage linebacker at the next level. Physically, he has it all. Next steps on his game will be to keep adding the weight and strength he already has, and continue to work on diagnosing offenses. But a high level prospect who fits well in today's defenses because he never has to come off the field and can line up in multiple spots. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: Second Round Player comparison: Isaiah Simmons | LB | Arizona Cardinals

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9931 | No. 13 Overall | No. 1 S Recruitment status: Signed with Ohio State Measurables: 6-4 | 215 Player evaluation: Is a physical prototype with height, length and already well into his physical development as a high school junior. Strong in his lower body. Changes directions and runs straight line very well for a player of his size. Smooth in his transitions and is capable of playing in space and even covering man to man at 210 pounds. Shows good ball skills and hands. The question is, long term, will he grow into an outside linebacker even though he has the athletic skills to play safety, or will be some kind of hybrid? If he is to move into the box, he will have to show he can take on blocks and be physical with offensive linemen and lead blockers. Likelihood is he continues to grow towards being in the front seven, but will be a unique athlete at that spot who can still move around and play different roles. The possibilities for him are numerous because of a rare skill set and measurables. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Isaiah Simmons | LB | Arizona Cardinals

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9929 | No. 14 Overall | No. 1 ATH Recruitment status: Signed with Georgia Measurables: 6-1 | 200 Player evaluation: Owns a workable frame. Has some length in the arms. Hovering right around 200 pounds, but should be able to bulk up once working with a college strength coach, if desired. A dynamic two-way player that gets the job done as a triple-option quarterback, but projects as a box safety or off-ball linebacker at the next level. One of the best overall athletes in the class of 2020 given track and field profile. Went 10.88 in the 100-meter dash spring before senior season. Also jumped over 22 feet. Swivel hips allow him to turn and stick with players in coverage. Initial burst makes it easy for him to get across the field. Competitive in pursuit and when the ball is in the air. Not the most technically sound tackler, but attacks ball carriers and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder pads. Must continue to add some functional strength and get better at reading and reacting to what’s in front of him, but should be viewed as a high-ceiling defensive prospect given twitch, fluidity and physicality. Could morph into a hit-and-run linebacker that doesn’t have to leave the field or carve out a role as a larger safety that can crash a gap on first down, cover a slot receiver on second down and then blitz on third down. Has the potential to eventually hear his name called early on in the NFL Draft if everything comes together. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Patrick Queen | LB | Baltimore Ravens

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9923 | No. 15 Overall | No. 2 OT Recruitment status: Signed with Texas Measurables: 6-5 | 300 Player evaluation: Big-bodied, big-framed lineman with potential for position versatility at tackle or guard. Good height and length and wears mass fairly well. Owns a wingspan in the 6-10 range. Shows enough functional athleticism to pull across the formation and lead the way to the perimeter. Flashes some punch when arriving at the second level. Size and strength manifest in drive-blocking ability. Hand placement is generally good. Feet stay active on contact. Heavy-handed and redirects targets even when not fully able to square up to engage. Down-blocks with conviction. Plays with a wide base and uses length well in pass pro. Casts a large shadow on the edge and creates major obstacle to the QB even if not in ideal position. Not a dancer on the outside but shows deceptively good footwork as a pass-blocker. Center of gravity is naturally high and combines with inconsistency as a bender to compromise pad level/leverage at times. Foot quickness improves from sophomore to junior season, but can play more sudden in general and verified testing supports that. Gets out over his feet on occasion and can improve balance and body control. A high-floor offensive lineman who also still has significant developmental potential to provide a high ceiling in the long term. Should become a multi-year high-major starter. Possesses long-term potential to reach the early rounds of the NFL Draft. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: Second Round Player comparison: Austin Jackson | OT | Miami Dolphins

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9921 | No. 16 Overall | No. 4 DL Recruitment status: Signed with Texas A&M Measurables: 6-3 | 280 Player evaluation: A twitched-up interior pass rusher that can make things extremely difficult for opposing quarterbacks. Burst onto the national recruiting scene summer before his junior season when he posted elite testing numbers (34.5-inch vertical jump and 4.4 in the short shuttle at 6-foot-2, 278 pounds). Fires out of his stance with a lethal first step. Constantly in control of his body and doesn’t lose his balance or bearing easily. Understands how to bend and find leverage while crashing gaps. Keeps feet pumping and plays with a steady level of energy. Mauling tackler with the grip strength to corral ball carriers and make stops outside the hashes. Wins more times than not with a simple bullrush, but knows how to swim his way past blockers and is equipped with a few pass-rushing moves. Lightning-quick hands, which were developed during Mixed Martial Arts training as a youngster, might be his best attribute. Produced his first two years at the varsity level totaling 18.5 sacks and 47.5 tackles for loss. Senior season was derailed a bit by injury as he tore a ligament in his hand, but he is expected to make a full recovery and should be ready to go by the time he steps foot on a college campus. Likely going to need to some time to adjust to the demands of Power 5 football, but has what it takes to eventually be a difference maker up front for a College Football Playoff contender. Ability to shoot into the backfield and flush out pockets on a consistent basis will presumably have him on the radar of NFL scouts. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Ed Oliver | DL | Buffalo Bills

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9919 | No. 17 Overall | No. 3 CB Recruitment status: Signed with Texas A&M Measurables: 6-1 | 180 Player evaluation: Tall, long cornerback prospect with elite frame potential relative to the position. Size already gives opposing wideouts problems. Possesses a ton of potential as a jammer. Uses frame to advantage and plays physical brand of coverage. Physical nature translates to tackling ability. Light on his feet and sinks hips. Shows impressive redirecting ability, whether in coverage or pursuit. On-field top-end speed looks encouraging. Flashes turn-and-run ability to shadow wideouts in vertical passing game. Overall athleticism lacks context from verified testing or track perspective. Ball skills can get better. Turn-and-locate ability can improve. Elite corner prospect among the nation's top prospects at the position in 2022. Projects to high-major level with long-term early-round NFL Draft potential. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: Second Round Player comparison: Jeff Okudah | CB | Detroit Lions

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9901 | No. 18 Overall | No. 1 QB Recruitment status: Signed with Clemson Measurables: 6-2.5 | 186 Player evaluation: Good height and lean build with above-average frame. Highly productive QB vs. TXHSFB 6A competition. Has thrown with a somewhat overhead release in games, but showed noticeably quickened, tightened delivery in Elite 11 regional setting. Comfortable in the pocket and off-schedule situations. Competent as an improvisational QB. Shows throw-on-the-run capability to multiple levels. Pro-style QB but mobile enough to keep defenses honest. Displays good velocity to the middle of the field, especially when footwork is consistent. Particularly good touch passer that translates that quality to all levels. Will enter college having faced strong competition relative to high school level. Competitor who has participated in track and field (400 meters, long jump, triple jump). Can transfer over-the-middle velocity more consistently to perimeter throws. Occasionally takes unnecessary chances, but assembled sterling INT rate as a junior (one in every 117-plus attempts). One of the top QB's in Texas in what looks like another strong class at the position. Projects to high-major level with potential for top half of the NFL Draft consideration. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9901 | No. 19 Overall | No. 2 QB Recruitment status: Signed with Texas A&M Measurables: 6-2 | 208 Player evaluation: Adequate height with a stout, athletic build. High-level natural athlete who is an elite baseball prospect. Loose, live arm transfers to passing ability on the gridiron. Displays impressive release quickness with requisite vertical arm strength to consistently stretch the field. Increasingly dangerous in off-schedule situations. Natural playmaker whose functional athleticism allows for scrambling ability that leads to chunk yardage or accurate throws while on the move. Shows short-area foot quickness to evade rushers. Also flashes legitimate big-play speed as a runner. Takes some chances at times and gambles on his tools, but that's part of what makes him good. One of the top QB's in the country's 2022 class with long-term potential to become a multi-year high-major starter and play beyond college. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9900 | No. 20 Overall | No. 4 CB Recruitment status: Signed with Michigan Measurables: 6-3 | 190 Player evaluation: Great size and still growing. Has length, but is also filled in and looks like a prototypical outside cornerback prospect. Good athlete who excels on the basketball court and has shown top notch ball skills on the football field. Has the size and ball tracking ability to defend bigger outside receivers. Has good technique. Smooth in his backpedal and transition. Smart as far as zone coverage. Has yet to time at an event or in track, so verified speed is one question mark right now. It is possible he will outgrow cornerback if he keeps getting taller and bigger, but at present, projects as a blue-chip boundary cornerback who will be an impact college player and have a good chance to be a higher draft choice. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Stephon Gilmore | CB | New England Patriots

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9899 | No. 21 Overall | No. 5 CB Recruitment status: Signed with Georgia Measurables: 6-2 | 170 Player evaluation: A larger corner that can essentially take away one side of the field. Measured just over 6-foot-2 the summer before his senior season. Uses that length to his advantage as he doesn’t give quarterbacks much room to work with, especially on deeper shots. Has gotten more and more aggressive in press coverage over the years and is more than capable of getting a wide receiver off schedule. Relatively fluid hips allow him to mirror those same wideouts as they try to work their way down the field. Does a nice job of anticipating throws and timing his breaks. Will fight through hands at the catch point in hopes of making a play. Willing tackler that lunges at ball carriers and strikes them before wrapping up. Limited verified testing data makes it hard to gage true top-end speed. Does, however, appear to be pretty quick in pads and is able to close most gaps on Friday nights. Has produced time after time going up against strong competition in the Sunshine State having totaled 10 interceptions and 20 pass break ups in three years at the varsity level. Must add some core strength and keep developing coverage techniques, but has what it takes to emerge as a potential CB1 type for a Top 25 program given long arms and instincts. Likely to find most success in a defense that wants its corners to man up on most downs. NFL upside. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Kevin Toliver II | CB | Chicago Bears

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9892 | No. 22 Overall | No. 2 EDGE Recruitment status: Signed with Georgia Measurables: 6-4.5 | 245 Player evaluation: One of the top pass rushers in his class. Wins time after time with his explosive first step. Started high school career off as a wide receiver before changing positions. Initially was a bit on the leaner side, but added almost 30 pounds to his frame summer between junior and senior seasons. Additional mass has allowed him to get more aggressive at the point of attack. Bends extremely well for a player his size and is able to run the corner better than most. Still developing a full menu of pass rushing moves, but is more than capable of dipping and ripping his way around blockers. Longer reach makes it very difficult for quarterbacks and running backs to get away. Extra length also helps eliminate some throwing lanes. Has experience working out of both a two and three-point stance. Missed time as a sophomore due to injury, but rebounded with a monster junior campaign totaling 13 sacks for the Sunshine State’s 5A champs. Still far from a complete product, but should be viewed as a prospect with a high ceiling given his initial burst and fluid movement patterns. Scheme versatility a plus as he could be molded into a 3-4 edge player or a more traditional defensive end. Could also probably kick inside on third and long, if needed. Should eventually emerge as an impact player for a College Football Playoff contender after a few years on campus. Has a chance to one day be an early round NFL Draft pick. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Joe Tryon-Shoyinka | EDGE | Tampa Bay Buccaneers

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9884 | No. 23 Overall | No. 3 OT Recruitment status: Undecided 247Sports Crystal Ball: Washington 50% | Michigan 50% Commitment date: Wed., Feb. 2 Top schools: Alabama | Michigan | Oklahoma | Oregon | USC | Washington Measurables: 6-5 | 275 Player evaluation: With a basketball background and running back history in youth football, Conerly is an athletic offensive tackle with great length, long arms and tremendous footwork, given his experience in the lane in basketball. Shows tremendous flexibility with natural knee bend, athletic and physical when clearing out running lanes and pulling. Smoothly changes direction and shows the balance, agility and explosion when in the open field. Uses hands extremely well, quick set in his pass blocking and can re-direct and anchor with ability to reset. Has a great motor and a high football IQ. Because of basketball background, stays in great shape, but will need to add weight and get stronger in college but possesses an optimal frame to do so. Projects as multi-year Power 5 starter and projects as first round pick. – 247Sports National Recruiting Editor Brandon Huffman NFL Draft projection: First Round Player comparison: Rashawn Slater | OT | Los Angeles Chargers

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9881 | No. 24 Overall | No. 3 QB Recruitment status: Signed with Alabama Measurables: 6-2 | 185 Player evaluation: Exciting dual-threat quarterback who’s one of the best in this year’s class extending plays and making something happen outside the pocket. Won’t wow you with his arm strength but it’s functional and he can make all the throws on the field. Natural feel in the pocket. Senses pressure and does a great job in scramble situations. Keeps eyes down the field and can make a big throw downfield or just take off and run for plus yards. Creative in how he gets the ball out. Can throw from different arm angles and is just as dangerous outside the pocket as he is inside of it. Shows poise and toughness. Will stand in and take a shot to get the ball out. Highly intelligent quarterback who should have no problems picking up a college playbook and processes the game extremely fast. Projects as an impact upper-tier Power 5 starter and future mid- to high-round NFL Draft pick. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9870 | No. 25 Overall | No. 4 OT Recruitment status: Signed with Kentucky Measurables: 6-8 | 340 Player evaluation: Physical specimen who has done a fantastic job re-shaping his body. At that same time, he has worked on explosiveness and that training has gotten him moving very well at his size. Plays with physicality and intensity. Finishes his blocks. Coordinated enough on his feet to drive defenders and stay balanced. Shows he can get out of his stance quickly in pass pro. Still refining technique with his hands and punch but has all of the qualities to be a true blindside protector at the next level. Has tremendous upside and has shown the work ethic to reach his ceiling. Has the potential to be a franchise type of left tackle. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: Second Round Player comparison: Kaleb McGary | OT | Atlanta Falcons

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9868 | No. 26 Overall | No. 5 DL Recruitment status: Signed with Georgia Measurables: 6-5 | 265 Player evaluation: A scheme-versatile big man with a projectable frame and one of the longest verified reaches out of any blue-chip prospect in the class of 2022. Carries 265 pounds almost like it’s 245 pounds. Could get up to 280 pounds or more once eating at a college training table, if desired. The type of defensive lineman that just finds ways to impact games. Gets downhill in a hurry and doesn’t waste many – if any – steps. Ability to move laterally allows him to cross the face of blockers and work his way up and down the line scrimmage. More than capable of muscling his way through contact and into the backfield with his above-average play strength, at least at the high school level. Doesn’t give up on many plays and frequently makes stops outside of the hashes. Has learned a few pass-rushing moves, but could always expand the menu. Elite testing numbers also suggest that he could find a little more juice when it counts. Produced as a sophomore and then again as a junior totaling a combined 39 tackles for loss and 29 sacks those two seasons. Has been utilized here and there as a stand-up edge player, but likely to settle in as a three or five-technique in college. Far from a complete product, but has a chance to develop into an all-conference type of player at the Power 5 level that makes things difficult for opposing quarterbacks given his reach. NFL upside. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Rasheem Green | DL | Seattle Seahawks

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9866 | No. 27 Overall | No. 4 QB Recruitment status: Signed with Penn State Measurables: 6-4.5 | 228 Player evaluation: Big, classically built quarterback prospect. Came from a background of playing other positions, but has quickly taken to quarterback and developed a great deal mechanically between his sophomore and junior year of high school. Has a strong arm with good velocity on his passes and high school offense allows him to make throws to every part of the field. Very good at off-platform throws and having to change arm angles to make throws without needing to set his feet. But can also stand in the pocket and deliver the ball on time. Seems to have a good understanding of timing and anticipation. Has smarts, work ethic and general intangibles. Coordinated athlete with his feet so he can slide around and make throws while on the move but is not as much of a running threat at this age. Projects as a college starter, potentially an early one and has the traits to play on Sundays. – 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Josh Allen | QB | Buffalo Bills

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9864 | No. 28 Overall | No. 2 S Recruitment status: Signed with Florida Measurables: 6-0 | 200 Player evaluation: A battering ram of a safety that likes contact. Transferred into the national powerhouse that is IMG Academy after a breakout sophomore campaign and left as a two-year starter in the secondary. Thrives in run support, but can also stick with most tight ends and running backs in coverage, at least the ones he saw on Friday nights. Quick to trigger. Takes sharp, clean angles while in pursuit. Knows how to get home on a blitz and always seems to be making stops behind the line of scrimmage. Tends to play faster than he tests and gets downhill with a full head of steam. Could, however, get a little more fluid while in reverse. Should provide immediate special teams value for the school of his choice given his frame (pushing 6-foot-1, 205 pounds), physical play style and win-first mentality. Also seems to own a rather high football IQ, which is a valuable asset these days as most offenses feature RPOs. Will likely need some time on campus to adjust to the ebbs and flows of the college game, but has what it takes to blossom into a difference maker and key contributor at a College Football Playoff contender. Should ultimately be viewed as an in-the-box safety with NFL upside. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Marcus Maye | S | New York Jets

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9860 | No. 29 Overall | No. 6 CB Recruitment status: Signed with Georgia Measurables: 6-1 | 185 Player evaluation: Well-put together athlete with longer limbs. Has developed some muscle in the arms. Sprinter-like quads. A bigger cornerback that thrives in bump-and-run situations. Also capable of mirroring in off coverage with his quick feet and loose hips. Uses a strong punch to redirect at the line of scrimmage and get plays off schedule. Instincts allow him to feel out routes. Has played some offense in the past. Times jumps well. Fights through blocks to provide run support, but will need to find more leverage at the next level if he’s going to take down college-sized running backs in the open field. Hasn’t posted any verified testing numbers, but has reportedly broke 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. Picked off 11 passes as a sophomore playing in one of Virginia’s higher classifications before transferring into the powerhouse that is IMG Academy. Didn’t see many, if any, balls come his way as a junior. Highly respected by the support staff in Bradenton. One of the top corner prospects in the class of 2022 given frame and movement patterns. Has the skillset to develop into an impact player for a Top 25 program and eventually a Day 1 or Day 2 pick in the NFL Draft. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Bryce Hall | CB | New York Jets

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9853 | No. 30 Overall | No. 1 RB Recruitment status: Signed with Alabama Measurables: 6-1 | 185 Player evaluation: Taller, longer-framed running back with lean, athletic build that should foster ample bulk addition in college. Three-sport high school athlete who plays basketball and runs track. Ran an 11.40 100 as a sophomore. Dominant in football and hoops vs. Alabama small-school competition. Longer-striding runner who shows good initial burst and downhill juice. Flashes dangerous cutback ability. Will stack cuts on the same run. Always looking for as many extra yards as possible. Impressively strings moves together at the second level considering longer, high-cut build. Simultaneously fluid and violent as a runner. Displays good core strength and contact balance to extend runs. Finishes runs consistently. Played snaps at running back, receiver, quarterback, and outside linebacker as a junior. Natural pass-catcher in limited opportunities. Adequate top-end speed but still room to improve. Potential in that category should be high given frame/gait. Gets bounce-happy at times, which is likely at least in part to individual dominance vs. small-school competition. One of the nation's top backs in the 2022 class. Should become a high-major impact player with long-term NFL Draft early-round ceiling. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Wayne Gallman | RB | Atlanta Falcons

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9844 | No. 31 Overall | No. 3 S Recruitment status: Signed with Florida State Measurables: 6-0 | 180 Player evaluation: A bigger defensive back with elite ball skills that found a way to make a difference in all three phases of the game on Friday nights. Could probably be a 1,000-yard wide receiver at the FBS level, but range and instincts suggest that his ceiling is highest somewhere in the secondary. Always seems to be in control of his body. Not one to waste many steps while in reverse and is quick to plant and change directions. Does a nice job of feeling out routes with simple hand checks and has a knack for capitalizing on the slightest of mistakes that a quarterback might make. Face-up tackler that can be rather physical at the point of attack. Has also shown that he isn’t afraid to jam someone at the line of scrimmage. Top-end speed is not an issue and verified times back that up (11.10 in the 100-meter dash). Got snaps primarily at cornerback as a junior and senior in one of the Sunshine State’s more competitive classifications, but could ultimately settle in at safety given how he’s built. Does, however, have the skillset required to get the job done as a bump-and-run corner in a more aggressive defensive system. Should emerge as an impact player for a Top 25 program and will have a chance to contribute right away on special teams. NFL traits given measurables, multi-sport background and two-way production at the prep level. – 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Eddie Jackson | S | Chicago Bears

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9840 | No. 32 Overall | No. 5 OT Recruitment status: Signed with LSU Measurables: 6-6 | 300 Player evaluation: Tall with above average length. Wears his mass well and owns terrific frame potential. Active feet set up contact and foster drive-blocking effectiveness. Flashes some nasty as a block-finisher and will take targets to the ground if possible. Displays encouraging movement ability in space that reflects in second-level efficiency. Reaches those second-level targets with relative ease. Combines functional mobility and strength as consistently effective reach-blocker. Arriving impact improved as a junior and also showed in flashes at point of attack. Owns a high ceiling as a pass-blocker thanks to frame and above-average foot quickness. Generally does not allow naturally high center of gravity negatively affect pad level and leverage. Consistency as a puncher can still improve. Also can trust his frame/reach more in initial extension, especially in pass pro. Looks to be among the top 2022 offensive tackle prospects. Projects to high-major level with long-term potential to reach the early rounds of the NFL Draft. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Liam Eichenberg | OT | Miami Dolphins

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9838 | No. 33 Overall | No. 2 RB Recruitment status: Signed with USC Measurables: 5-8 | 185 Player evaluation: Shorter back but well constructed with dense, stout build and naturally lower center of gravity. Likely an all-purpose type in the long run, but has shown during senior season encouraging high-volume capability when required. Electric top-end speed verified in track and combine testing environments. Ran multiple sub-11.00 100's and a verified 4.47 40 as a freshman in high school. Speed fully reflected on the field. Combines game-breaking top end with impressive short-area suddenness and mobility. Quick-footed and explosive laterally. Twitchy when redirecting and bursts out of cuts, whether from the backfield or running routes. Despite limited opportunities in 2021, more than capable pass catcher who can move to the slot and not miss a beat. Will present dangerous matchup for opposing linebackers and safeties in the passing game. Type of offensive weapon who can move around the formation and be used creatively. Also a return game option. Limited physical upside because of shorter stature and frame. Will need to maximize strength to help compensate for lack of size. Dynamic big-play weapon who can align in the backfield or in the slot. Projects to high-major level as an impact player with long-term NFL Draft early-round potential. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2) Player comparison: Nyheim Hines | RB | Indianapolis Colts

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9836 | No. 34 Overall | No. 5 QB Recruitment status: Signed with LSU Measurables: 6-1 | 195 Player evaluation: Adequate frame with lean build that should add some mass in college. Established a following as an elite camp performer early in high school career before taking over varsity starting duties. Has posted encouraging testing numbers early in career (4.76 40, 4.40 shuttle). Consistent, accurate passer to all levels. Steps into throws and gets great zip on balls to the short-to-intermediate range. Posted stellar production in breakout junior campaign. Threw a lot of reps while also valuing the ball, as evidenced by only one INT per 63 pass attempts (five in 316 throws). Not a true dual-threat but functionally mobile with ability to extend plays outside the pocket. Remains accurate on the move. Squares shoulders and fires even when on the run. Plenty of arm strength but still probably some juice to squeeze out at the top end, which should come with add physical mass/strength. Typically stays on top of the ball but will have one sail a bit every once in a while. Possesses a good QB pedigree. Seems quite polished relative to age and could be a particularly high-floor QB at the next level. Projects to high-major competition with long-term NFL Draft potential. – 247Sports Midlands Region Recruiting Analyst Gabe Brooks NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)

247Sports Composite: 5-star | 0.9834 | No. 35 Overall | No. 3 LB Recruitment status: Signed with Notre Dame Measurables: 6-2 | 210 Player evaluation: Sneed is a rocked-up outside linebacker/edge player with long arms and and a good looking frame. Sneed played his junior season with his hand down as a defensive end but has more of an outside linebacker body type. Sneed has a relentless motor and superior physicality on the field. He has elite open-field abilities to make plays in space and is extremely hard to block. Sneed possesses great play-strength and knock back tackling power. He's got raw physical tools with upside potential as a defensive prospect. Sneed's explosive first step and downfield trigger put him in position to make plays in the backfield. Excellent linear speed to chase down the ball and showed consistent production throughout his high school career. Will set the tone of the game with his physicality. – 247Sports Transfer Portal Expert Clint Brewster NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round (Day 2)
