Question: Hi, we are forever coming across properties where tenants have vacated and the meters are in debt, therefore unable to carry out the live EICR to enable re-letting. 

To clear the debt and obtain a 230v supply can be a nightmare.

Therefore, would it be feasible to connect up a battery pack which generates a low wattage (i.e. 200w) 230v supply for the purpose of getting/obtaining only the Ze, Zs and RCD live test results, or would the earth path be corrupted?
