Flight Of Passage With A 15-Minute Wait 😱 Why NOW Is The Time To Go To Disney World

It’s not uncommon to wait more than an hour for the most popular rides in Disney World.

Roller coasters, thrill rides, and other big hits like Rise of the Resistance can sometimes even get waits above two hours during the busiest times of the year. That’s a pretty big chunk of your day…so is it worth it to wait in that line for ONE ride? Well, thankfully that’s a decision you may not have to make if you’re visiting soon!

Recently, wait times have been steadily trending downward. We noticed this change partway through August, and we’ve continued to see short lines for September 1st. On September 1st, only one ride ever got above a 90-minute wait at all four parks, and many popular options had shockingly low wait times all day long.

For instance, Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom was sub-30 minutes most of the day, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (which just opened last year) hit a peak wait of 45 minutes, but had wait times lower than that at several different points in the afternoon. Rise of the Resistance scored the day’s highest wait with 95 minutes, but then dropped to a 25-minute wait in the afternoon.

Keep in mind that these things can change depending on when you visit. For example, the Labor Day holiday is coming up, which could bring slightly more crowds. Though crowds could be DIFFERENT this year.
