Di-LOG has been an established name in the UK test equipment market for over 40 years. Originally part of the Kane Group, a management buyout in 1998 led the company down an independent path and the business has grown substantially over the past 24 years.

The ethic of the business has always been to ensure we provide “measurably better” test equipment with the highest levels of customer service. Dedicated senior management has woven these principles into the framework of Di-LOG over the years, resulting in an experienced and committed sales, engineering and customer support team.  We are proud to have some of the longest-serving and most professional colleagues in the industry.

Di-LOG’s team have an experienced senior management team with over 110 years of test instrument experience between them, which is constantly evolving to meet new innovations.  Combined with our team of trained sales agents, their dynamic and proactive approach ensures that the comprehensive knowledge they offer is second to none.

Di-LOG continues to lead the way with new technology being introduced to the UK.  Proudly, in 2000 we were one of the 1st companies to introduce auto switching voltage & continuity testers which developed into our current Award Winning CombiVolt™ range.  This was shortly followed by one of the very first 1st handheld Multifunction Testers offering low current “Non-Trip” Loop Testing Technology, paving the way for our brand new DL9100 series MFT launched in June 2022.

There are several divisions that make up the Di-log Group:

Di-Log Test Equipment offers a comprehensive range of test equipment priding itself on offering world-class instrumentation innovation and designed for the most demanding application.  All Di-Log instruments are designed and manufactured to the highest quality specification and you can be assured that all manufacturing processes adhere to the UK and internationally recognised standards.  Di-Log instruments are accurate, safe and rugged – you won’t find a better balance between cost and fitness for purpose.

Di-LOG is proud to support “British Manufacturing” by designing and building our specialist safety test equipment in the UK.  All of our 18th Edition Multifunction Testers and PATs have a UK-based R&D team dedicated to designing, building and delivering the most up-to-date technology to meet the continuous needs of your customers.

The new DL9130EV, Di-LOG’s flagship Installation Multifunction Tester has been specifically designed for electrical engineers currently or considering the installation of Electric Vehicle (EV)charging stations.  The brand-new hardware and firmware platform has paved the way for a host of new features, including the Auto EV RCD Test Sequence.  Our single press EV sequence will simply follow a pre-defined 6mA RDC-DD test of the DC protection integrated in the EV charger, followed by the AC tests requires on the sub-distribution board fitted with a Type A RCD.  There is even the option to continue and conduct a DC and AC ramp test.

Developments such as the patented “Xpert Loop Technology” RCD-LOC XLT loop system are in place on the new DL9100 series Installation MFT.  The Di-LOG MFTs use a smart algorithm designed to detect noise and ‘RCD uplift’.  The RCD-LOC XLT Algorithm will perform an additional loop test specifically looking for the effects of noise and if RCD Uplift is present.  The DL911x Series MFT will then return an accurate loop test result with all the external effects removed in around 9 seconds.

Our Commitment to Electrical Safety

Every professional tradesperson with experience working on a busy site knows how it feels to take responsibility for the other tradesmen around them. When you are dealing with live electricity there is no room for calculated risks and educated guesses. The only way you can ensure the safety of you and your colleagues is by adopting adequate safe isolation procedures.

With the recent launch of our brand-new PU690, a 690V proving unit to verify the functionality of 2 pole voltage indicators, we are also able to launch our DLPK67xx Series of CombiVolt Voltage Indicator Proving Unit kits (DLPK6780 and DLPK6790).  The PU690 combined with our award-winning CombiVolt series of voltage indicators being fully compliant to GS38 and BS 61243-3:2014, the Di-LOG DLPK67xx series kits offer fantastic safety, quality and value for all tradespeople working on low voltage systems.
